The Village Library Education Center provides our neighbors with valuable tools to help their children succeed in school.

We are working to foster a community where every student can thrive academically so that the whole community thrives.

We have accomplished this vision for over 20 years through a vibrant after-school tutoring program. The Village Library tutors students in first through ninth grades twice a week.

Most come to us with C averages or lower, and many from economically disadvantaged homes where English is not the primary language. By the end of the school year, students regularly improve to an A or B average.

The library’s team of dedicated volunteers also offer educational opportunities such as math competitions, a summer program, and short-break activities to keep students engaged year-round.
