Family Safety Victoria is committed to keeping women, children and families safe. The organisation was established in July 2017 to drive key elements of Victoria’s family violence strategy and coordinate support for families to help them care for children and young people.

Are you curious about what it’s like working as part of a team helping people experiencing family violence and seeking support for the wellbeing of their children? The Orange Door is an Australian-first model that brings together workers from specialist family violence, child and family, Aboriginal and men’s services, to provide an integrated response for the Victorian communities. The Orange Door provides services to people experiencing family violence and needing family support, including risk and needs assessment, safety planning, and crisis supports, as well as connecting people to a broad range of services for ongoing support. If you are <ul><li>thinking about a career in the family violence and child wellbeing sector </li><li>looking for a career change </li><li>deciding what’s next after your studies or </li><li>a current worker in the sector </li></ul>then this session is for you.
