The Stock Exchange, the Bull, Broadway, the Battery. Everyone visited here at least once and some are here every day. The more interesting it is to explore the other side of this coin: here is where the history of New York had started and so, I hold, history of the USA.My tour is of the colonial period, up to the first inauguration and the start of the country of which New York was the first capital. Some artefacts and even some walls of 3-4 hundreds years old remain and we will be able to see them. An that&#x27;s in the center of Financial District, the concrete and glass jungle! Physically unevidenced historical periods I will represent with maps, pictures and tales.We will talk about the indigenous culture, the first european who spend a winter on Manhattan, discuss the corporate policy of Dutch West Indian Company and how current immigrant nature of New York stems out of it, we will see fragments of old English fortifications, literally touch American Revolution history and talk about a bible on which Washington sweared to protect the American Constitution for the first time (and about where in New York you can find some of George&#x27;s remains). The route is approximately 2 hours and 2 miles long.The tour will not touch upon the usual sights that are often shown here like the Bull, Fearless Girl, NYSE, Statue of Liberty, etc.The price includes all fees and taxes.The tour is in English.
