To show the NC Senate we are serious and will be heard, we are planning a rally. Mark your calendar today, and join us in Raleigh on June 8, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. HJR 233, the COS resolution passed the NC House last May. Our rally last April set a new COS national record with more than 300 attendees. That was one factor for our success in the House. Now we need to make sure the Senate knows we are here, we are politically active and we will hold them accountable. Our goal for this rally is to get 500-1000 patriots to attend. We need YOUR help!Mark Meckler, president and co-founder of Convention of States Action, will join us, as well as Col. Allen West and Rick Green of Patriot Academy! We will also hear from legislators who support our efforts and some very special volunteers who have heart-wrenching stories to share about why COS is important to them. But...for those of us in western NC, Raleigh is a long way. What if you could take a bus? We are taking reservations for a bus that will depart the WNC AgCenter Park-n-Ride on Wednesday June 8th tentatively at 5:30 a.m. with pickups in Marion and Statesville. The specific schedule for those stops will be communicated. The bus will transport us to the NC legislative building in Raleigh where the rally will take place. We plan on departing to return approximately at 3 p.m. with an arrival back at the park-n-ride about 7 p.m. Note: The ticket cost will only cover about half of the actual cost for the bus, as transportation costs have risen dramatically over the last several weeks. But I am personally willing to defray that cost to keep the ticket price as low as possible. I will be grateful for those who can afford to donate to this cause.
