An invitation to the entire Community
Lowell High School PTSA invites you to attend when Congresswomen Jackie Speier has a "Conversation about America" with people who have questions about the changes that are confronting us.
 
How will the changes to Healthcare change who can get covered?
How will the immigration policy affect the money the Federal Government sends to local government here in California because of sanctuary cities?
Will new policies at the Education Department hurt public education?
What is happening with our relations with Russia and Mexico?
What can we do to make a difference in Administration policies?
 
Attendees will have an opportunity to ask the Congresswomen any question that concerns them. This is a chance to share your views with someone who can make a difference. Find out the latest and help shape the future. The following groups have been asked to have a representative ask an initial question. They are: The Student Government, The Student Advocacy Committee, Parent Involvement and Inclusion committee, The Black Student Union, The Teachers Union and The School District.

La Asociación de Maestros, Estudiantes y Padres de Familia del colegio secundario Lowell, los invita a asistir a la “Conversación acerca de América” que la congresista Jackie Speier mantendrá con aquellas personas que tengan preguntas acerca de los cambios que afrontamos.
¿Cómo modificarán los cambios en la Asistencia Médica la elección de quién puede recibir servicio de cobertura?
¿Cómo afectará la política migratoria a los fondos que el Gobierno Federal destina a los gobiernos locales aquí en California como estado santuario?
¿Las nuevas políticas en el Departamento de Educación perjudicarán la educación pública?
¿Qué está sucediendo con nuestras relaciones con Rusia y México?
 
Los asistentes tendrán la oportunidad de preguntarle a la congresista sobre cualquier asunto que les preocupe. Esta es una oportunidad de compartir sus opiniones con alguien que puede cambiar las cosas. Entérese de las últimas novedades y ayude a forjar el futuro. A los siguientes grupos, vinculados al colegio secundario Lowell, se les ha pedido que hagan que un representante formule la pregunta inicial. Estos son: El Gobierno Estudiantil, el Comité de Defensa Estudiantil, el Comité de Participación e Inclusión Paternal, la Unión de Estudiantes Negros, la Unión de Maestros y el Distrito Escolar.

參加者將有機會向議員發問任何與他們有關的問題。 這是一個與有影響力的人分享您的意見的機會。 注意最新發展並幫助塑造未來。 以下與Lowell高中有關的團體已被要求由一位代表提出他們最初的問題：學生政府、學生宣傳委員會、家長參與和包容委員會、黑人學生聯盟，教師聯盟和學區。
