Based in Pasadena, CA, Armory Center for the Arts is a nonprofit, contemporary visual art center whose mission is to nurture our community and its young people by creating, learning, and presenting art to advance equity and social justice.

In this one-day workshop, learn to make a small hand-cranked panorama out of everyday household materials.

<p><strong>For Ages 12+  </strong>– In this one-day workshop, learn to make a small hand-cranked panorama out of everyday household materials. You’ll design and create small box theater and a long scroll to go inside it. We’ll also take a look at various historic and contemporary examples of these devices.</p>

<h3>Class Details </h3><ul><li>June 4</li><li>10:00 AM - 1:00 PM PDT</li><li>Kate Lain, Instructor</li><li>For Ages 12+</li><li>$150/Student</li><li>Class will be conducted on <a href="https://zoom.us/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zoom</a></li></ul><p>Armory Members receive 10% off classes</p>

<h3>Recommended Materials &amp; Tools:</h3><ul><li>Scissors or an x-acto knife/box cutter + cutting mat</li><li>Pencil</li><li>Ruler (at least 12” long)</li><li>At least one empty paper towel tube OR at least two empty toilet paper tubes</li><li>Drawing/coloring supplies such as colored pencils, markers, or crayons</li><li>Scotch tape or glue stick</li><li>Optional: two plastic bottle caps from a beverage container (milk jug, box of soup, soda bottle, etc.)</li><h3></h3></ul>
