The Minneapolis College of Art and Design is pleased to present the McKnight Discussion Series featuring Janet Dees, curator of modern and contemporary art at The Block Art Museum, Northwestern University, in conversation with McKnight 2019 fellows Leslie Barlow, Mary Griep, Melvin Smith. All are invited to attend. Non-MCAD guests must register via Eventbrite.Tuesday, May 24, 6:30–8:00 p.m., Auditorium 150 and live streamed (<a href="https://us06web.zoom.us/j/84064138627?pwd=YU53d3ErK1piUGVwSERWUWxwbnNIQT09#success" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zoom link</a>)This program pairs a visiting critic with two McKnight Visual Artist Fellows and offers attendees an opportunity to learn more about the fellowship recipients as well as how their work intersects with broader contemporary art ideas and concerns. This event is generously supported by the McKnight Foundation.Please be assured that the health and safety of our MCAD community and visitors remain our priority. We will adhere to the following protocols for visitors:<ul><li>Entrance is free but reservations for visitors are required ahead of your visit.</li><li>We ask that guests arrive at the north (Main) or south (Parking Lot) entrances.</li><li>Masks are required inside of MCAD buildings regardless of vaccination status.</li><li>Upon entering the building guests must show proof of vaccination (including booster) or negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event (digital or paper forms are acceptable).</li><li>Guests may park for free in the South Lot located at E. 26th Street and 2nd Ave S.
