An intimate evening exploring the island of Ischia and its treasures with Pasquale and Federica of Cenatiempo!
Off the coast of southwestern Italy is the historic island of Ischia, a hidden viticultural gem in the Tyrrhenian Mediterranean. It’s storied history dates to 700BC with the arrival of the Greeks, and later the Romans who dubbed the area “Enaria” or “land of the vine”. Its native grapes, unique soils and high-altitude vines produce wines as bright as the sun, yet totally distinct from any winemaking region in the south.
Join us for an immersive tasting experience into the wines of Ischia through the lens of the iconic producer Cenatiempo! On the evening of March 10th, I welcome Pasquale Cenatiempo and his partner, Federica Predoni, for an exploration of this region through their incredible portfolio of wines. We will cover the ancient history of Ischia and some of its treasures, while noshing on a giant spread of antipasto + bites inspired by this remote Mediterranean island! Join us around the table where the education is truly found, in the glass!
