Join us to plant trees in the western addition neighborhood with Friends of the Urban Forest. It's a great way to meet single people and make new friends while giving back to the community!
No experience is necessary, just a willingness to get your hands in the dirt! Lunch and snacks will be provided. Together, we will help expand the tree canopy coverage in San Francisco.

Our events are designed to foster meaningful connections through fun activities that revolve around volunteering and community service. In a casual setting, you'll have ample time to engage with others and truly get to know them. Our goal is to provide fun, gender-balanced events for singles in their 30s and 40s while giving back to the community.
What Makes It Different?
We provide casual, affordable, low-pressure opportunities to meet single people in their 30s and 40s. Maybe you’re tired of the bar scene and the dating apps. Maybe you’ve considered the membership-based “active singles” programs out there but they’re just too expensive. Or maybe their extreme sports-like activities don’t appeal to you. Maybe you just don’t have the time or scheduling flexibility to commit to long-duration events far in advance. We understand. That’s why we started Organic Chemistry Dating. We want you to walk away from each event feeling good about the people you met and the contribution you made to your community.
Even if you don’t make a romantic connection at your first event you’ll feel great about giving back to the community. It’s also a fun way to make single friends!
Location
Western Addition neighbhorhood of San Francisco. 1 week before the event you'll receive a reminder email from Eventbrite with a link to the charity's waiver. After you complete the charity's waiver you'll receive an email from them (not Eventbrite) with the exact location of the event. Please complete the waiver before June 27th.
Frequently asked questions
To maximize our charitable contribution as much as possible we will donate a portion of all ticket profits to the charity and the rest will be used to cover expenses (website, marketing ads, etc.)
If you can no longer attend please cancel your ticket so we can give it to someone on the waitlist. If you do not cancel your ticket and simply do not show up to an event (i.e. flake), we reserve the right to move you to the end of the waitlist for any future events that you sign up for.

Be sure to check with your employer to see if they offer matching donations for the time their employees spend volunteering. This is a great way to maximize your charitable contributions. You can also make donations directly to our charity partners.
