The Telling is Healing documentary is a compelling 35-minute filmed conversation between Donna Jenson of <a href="https://timetotell.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Time to Tell</a> and her friend Suzanne Beck. Together, they share their discoveries between one survivor and one ally as they navigated the delicate path of disclosure to understanding and support. There will be a dialogue with Donna following the film. Survivors – bring your allies with you! We will close the evening with a reading from members of the Survivor Nest Project. Sliding scale <a href="https://square.link/u/3JUkx4T1" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">donation</a> up to $25. The Survivor Nest Project is a transformational healing arts project for survivors of incest and childhood sexual abuse. Organized by Carla Beatrice of <a href="https://www.survivornest.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Survivor Nest</a>, an interactive exhibit and programming is taking place in April during Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. A powerful installation by artist Debbie Baxter of <a href="https://debbiebaxter.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Nest Project</a> includes a giant life sized nest, nesting portraits of survivors and narratives of the healing they brought into their nesting experiences. Join us in this incredible historic site, once used for public meetings and gatherings, as Baxter transforms it into a safe, nurturing and intimate womb-like environment.
