The Innovators Cohort - A 1-Day Gathering For Innovators & Early Adopters Shaping The Future Of The Church In New England

3S Artspace

New England once had mega-churches. They’re called Cathedrals. Many have since been converted into stores, bars, or karate studios as New England culture transitioned to post-Christian. However, a critical shift is underway, as innovation unfolds across the neighborhoods and villages of our region as ministry leaders live out their apostolic calling in creative ways to engage their post-Christian communities. On May 10th, a small gathering of innovators are coming together in Portsmouth, NH to learn from each other. Many of us see New England as a region God is strategically using to shape the future direction of the American church. For those of us who are apostolic disruptors, this is a chance for us to meet each other and find our tribe. The schedule is structured in two parts:1st part - Emerging Innovation - Hear from 6 innovators who are conducting early stage R&D in their context as they present 20-minute overviews.2nd part - Find Your Tribe - Participant-driven time is after lunch and you identify the type of projects that reflect your work or area of interest and you join the breakout groups to meet potential collaborators. Lunch with Steve Carter - Steve will participate in the sessions and during lunch, present his efforts to introduce a diverse group of communicators to each other through his Craft & Character podcast and communicators cohorts.

https://stevecarter.org/

https://theascentleader.org/craft-character/

https://www.cdfcapital.org/craft-character/

Presenters On R&D Initiatives For Emerging Innovation:

Discovery Bible Study - Non-experts engaging Non-believers with scripture.
