Canoeing For Kids

Raft-a-Rama is back and rebranded as CFK Raft Day! Choose from two options: a trip that starts at 10am and ends at 12pm for $50 (lunch not included in ticket price), or a trip from 2pm to 4pm with BBQ included and live music for $75. All proceeds benefit Canoeing for Kids.Cafe Strudel will be on hand from 11:30am to 2pm for lunch purchases after the 10am trip and before the 2pm trip.Trips will set out on the Saluda River from our private landing and travel from Lexington to Columbia through a mix of flatwater and Saluda River rapids. Along the way, we'll experience the Saluda's largest rapid - Millrace, paddle past Columbia's beautiful new park - the Saluda Riverwalk, and drift under the bridge at Riverbanks Zoo.Arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of your trip start time to check in, use the restroom, and gather your equipment. All equipment will be provided by Canoeing for Kids, and no prior experience is necessary. Dress for an active day on the water with clothes that can get wet, old tennis shoes or sturdy sandals with a heel strap, and sun screen. All guests will paddle in groups in large inflatable rafts with an experienced guide.

This is a fundraiser for Canoeing for Kids, so we greatly appreciate your participation and support.
