Welcome to the Thames Valley & Wessex Hand Surgery Conference 2022! Join us face to face (finally) for an enjoyable and educational event!

It is our pleasure to invite you to the Thames Valley &amp; Wessex Deaneries Hand Surgery Conference which will take place on Wednesday the 25th of May 2022, 09:00 – 17:00 at the Jury’s Inn, Oxford. This FREE event is a fantastic opportunity for us to get together, share experiences and advances in the region and learn from each other.We are also delighted that this year, Stoke Mandeville and Oxford University Hospitals have been nominated as National Hand Centres of Excellence by the IFSSH. As such, the units will be hosting 4 international IFSSH fellows for 2 weeks in the run up to the IFSSH Congress in June 2022. We will welcome them and invite them to speak at this conference.This conference has the support of the educational leads at your trusts. Trainers have been requested to release as many trainees to attend as possible. So please do organise study leave and the necessary swaps as soon as possible.We invite all trainees to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations in any area of hand surgery. Prizes will be awarded for the best oral and poster presentations. To submit, please email abstracts to stokemandevilleplastics@gmail.com no later than 5pm on Friday the 13th May 2022. Please include full names of all authors and institutions structure according to the format: Introduction, Methods, Results &amp; Discussion and do not exceed 200 words.
