Goodness and nutrition surround you—join this inspiring presentation and learn the basics of foraging in Claremont and beyond. Expert forager Douglas Kent will teach how to protect yourself, the most common foraged foods, and delicious treats that often go unnoticed. Foraging is fantastic fun and for everyone, for every age group, and for every ability. We hope you can join us! Douglas Kent MS, MLADouglas Kent started eating weeds in 1979 and has never looked back. He is author of Foraging Southern California (Wilderness Press 2019). Along with his two advanced degrees and 6 other horticultural books, Doug has biked-packed and foraged the entire California coast. His talks are as dynamic as educational.Suggested donation: $10 to go towards Sustainable Claremont programs
