The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots, organization established in 1920 to educate and motivate citizens to participate in their government. Our members are women and men who work to improve our systems of government and impact public policies through education and advocacy. The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin operates on the state level with leadership and grassroots support from LWVUS and our 20 local Leagues (and growing!) in Wisconsin.

Please join us IN PERSON on Friday, June 10, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday, June 11, 9:30 AM to noon, at the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley Hotel in downtown Appleton for LWVWI&#x27;s 2022 Annual Meeting! A light breakfast will be available each day starting at 8:00 AM! The meeting will highlight the League’s strength in partnership with diverse groups. Learn how uniting our knowledge and advocacy resources with those of our allies will power the vote in the fall elections and beyond! Among the changemakers we will be celebrating our youth and their ability to help us take ideas into action and make a transformative difference in League. This activity is being coordinated by our event hosts, LWV Appleton-Fox Cities. Join us for a light breakfast starting at 8:00 AM! The Friday program starts at 9:30 AM and includes an awards presentation, the Parade of Leagues, keynote speakers from the Disability Vote Coalition, a youth panel, the League’s business meeting - the plenary, and a social gathering, 5 to 6 PM, with light appetizers, celebratory cake and a cash bar. Non-League members may not vote in the Plenary Session.Saturday&#x27;s IN PERSON-only morning program will NOT be live-streamed but programs will be recorded and made available post-event. Join us for a light breakfast starting at 8:00 AM and an opportunity to informally gather by interest groups (Local League Presidents, Voter Services, Technology and Communication, and Legislative Committee). The IN PERSON Saturday program agenda starts at 9:30 AM and includes keynote speakers on Native voting and breakout sessions on topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion, civic education, election administration and jail voting. COVID PROTOCOLS FOR IN-PERSON ATTENDANCEPROOF OF COVID VACCINATION (two doses and booster) WILL BE REQUIRED to attend the Friday and Saturday IN PERSON meetings. Please present proof of vaccination at the League&#x27;s registration table when you arrive. A photo of your vaccination card will suffice. Requirements may change as public health recommendations change. Morning coffee, tea, fruit and pastries with gluten-free options will be provided on Friday and Saturday morning starting at 8:00 AM. Friday registration includes a Luncheon Sandwich Buffet that meets all dietary requirements and a social gathering, 5 to 6 PM, with light appetizers, celebratory cake and a cash bar. We welcome members and non-members. We encourage your participation! If you are interested in joining the League, membership information will be available at the League registration table.
