Welcome to the last talk from The Feral Palace series. We will be joined by Rok Kranjc, social-ecological transformations researcher at the Institute for Ecology and founder of Futurescraft, a research and design studio. In this talk we will explore in some detail both the meanings and designerly implications of “more-than-human common(er)s, economies, transitions and governance”.GOVERNING MORE-THAN-HUMAN TRANSFORMATIONSIn this talk, Rok will introduce key thinkers, concepts and practices associated with posthumanism and the (urban) commons. This will include links to ecofeminist perspectives, degrowth, animal and extinction studies and other fields, specifically implications for anthropology, design and urban planning, as well as storytelling and speculative fiction. Through this, we will explore in some detail both the meanings and designerly implications of “more-than-human common(er)s, economies, transitions and governance”.ROK KRANJCRok Kranjc is a social-ecological transformations researcher at the Institute for Ecology and a translator and editor at the Journal for the Critique of Science, for Imagination and New Anthropology. Internationally, he is affiliated with the P2P Foundation, Participatory Futures Global Swarm and the Shared Futures project, and is the founder of Futurescraft, a research and design studio for experiential futures, generative games, and other forms of engaging with and co-creating post-capitalist economies.THE FERAL PALACE TALKSHave you ever wondered how to design for more-than-human species? This project is a part of a partnership network Platform Center for Creativity co-financed by the European Union from European Regional Development Fund and by the Republic of Slovenia.---Dobrodošli v zadnjem pogovoru iz serije The Feral Palace.Pridružil se nam bo Rok Kranjc, raziskovalec socialno-ekoloških transformacij na Inštitutu za ekologijo in ustanovitelj raziskovalnega in oblikovalskega studia Futurescraft. V tem pogovoru bomo podrobno raziskali tako pomene kot dizajnerske implikacije več kotčloveških ekonomij, upravljanja in »skupnjenja« (ang. commoning).SOUPRAVLJANJE VEČ-KOT- ČLOVEŠKIH TRANSFORMACIJRok nam bo predstavil nekatere ključne mislece, koncepte in prakse, povezane s posthumanizmom in »urbanim skupnim« (ang. urban commons). Pregled bo vključeval povezave z ekofeminističnimi perspektivami, odrastjo, študijami izumrtij in drugimi področji. Osredotočili se bomo tudi na nekatere implikacije prepleta teh področij za »dizajn tranzicij« in soupravljanje ekosocialnih transformacij, pa tudi za prakse, kot so pripovedništvo in spekulativna fikcija. S tem bomo podrobno raziskali tako pomene kot dizajnerske implikacije večkot človeških ekonomij, upravljanja in »skupnjenja« (ang. commoning).ROK KRANJCRok Kranjc je raziskovalec socialno-ekoloških transformacij na Inštitutu za ekologijo ter prevajalec in sourednik pri Časopisu za kritiko znanosti, domišljijo in novo antropologijo. Na mednarodni ravni je član fundacije za »peer to peer« alternative P2P Foundation, mednarodne kooperative Participatory Futures Global Swarm in projekta Shared Futures ter je ustanovitelj Futurescrafta, raziskovalnega in oblikovalskega studia za razvoj izkustvenih prihodnosti, generativnih iger in drugih oblik participacije v postkapitalističnih ekonomijah in njihovem sodizajniranju. SERIJA PREDAVANJ PALAČA DIVJINESte se kdaj spraševali, kako oblikovati za več-kot-človeške organizme? Kako oblikovati, ne da bi pri tem ogrozili življenje, ki uspeva v ekosistemih na gradbiščih? Kako oblikovati uspešne ekosisteme?
