My name is L'Vonne McMillan, and I am the Founder and CEO of Advocate for Me,LLC. Advocate for Me specializes in working with families of children with specialneeds and special health care needs. I am a parent of a child who was bornpremature and has special health care needs. So this is very dear to my heart.My first children's book, What About Me? is the first in my series about a child namedDavid and his mom dealing with the challenges of inclusion in a child care center.Philadelphia native L’Vonne McMillan has worked with various agenciesproviding one-on-one instruction and early intervention for clients with variousspecial needs- Autism, Down Syndrome, and Mental Health Disorders.She has a wide range experience in the Social Service Field as well as LeadClassroom Teacher at various locations. She started providing tutoringservices in June 2004 and has had many families utilize her services withinthe following subjects- General Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Reading,and Writing. It's with this passion she started the Marie Morgan EducationalCenter, Inc.However, now that Jordan’s health is maintained and better she is able toembark on several different opportunities working with women and children.Ms. McMillan goal is to enhance the lives of others and to make their life moreself sufficient by utilizing the gifts and talents that have been bestowed on heras an Educator, Speaker, Dancer, Social Service Worker and Author.

April is Autism Awareness Month and to honor and celebrate the amazing mothers that are caring for their child.

EVOLVE CREATIVE COMMUNITY

Advocate For Me, LLC sponsors a night of networking, sharing, and celebrating the amazing mothers who are caring for their child. We are excited to host our 3rd annual Autism Moms Night Out. This is not a ticket event, but you must register. Please we ask that if you register that you will attend the event in person. This is a free event all things sponsored by Advocate For Me, LLC. Resource Fair- 12pm-5pm- Open to all- We will host a resource fair for families to attend to learn about organizations, programs, and services that their child or family may need. Vendor opportunity to Autism Families, if your organization will like to be a part of this event please register and vendors fee. We are looking for authors, autism organizations, hospitals, etc. 6pm-7pm- Private event- We will sponsor 5 mothers to receive a pamper session which includes- music, personal massage, and lite refreshments. (5 Mothers will be contacted by April 16, 2022) 7pm-9pm- Registration required for 20 mothers- We will later network with amazing mothers that can share, educate, and embrace each other to continue advocating for their child/children.
