Welcome to a 1 day SUP Surf Yoga Training for 200 hr RYT certified yoga instructors! Pool SUP Yoga is fun and a great way to get started with out having to have 2 years of paddle boarding skills and all the other risky variables of teaching SUP yoga of a lake. Training &amp; certification covers ALL the skills you need to teach private and group SUP YogaFit classes. Learn a 1 hour all levels SUP YogaFit class sequence and a 1 hour intermediate/advanced SUP Surf Yoga Conditioning sequence for the more adventurous yogi&#x27;s and athletes. What to expect to learn and experience:1. Board Anatomy &amp; fun SUP Surf language for top notch communication and motivation skills-Learn how to cue your students where to be on their board during different positions to aid the success of their practice, minimize falls, and overall increase their comfort level. Light their inner fire to tap them into that surfer&#x27;s &quot;stoke&#x27; that brings them back again and again for more. 2. Board Safety-How to coach others to get on and how to fall safely3. Pool Set Up-Very important distance, positioning and anchoring knowledge (will discuss the differences of lake based classes)4. Class preparations- Receive instructions how to create waivers, questionnaires, obtain liability insurance, proper equipment, etc5. Postures and Counter balance coaching-SUP Yoga is a very unique experience to that on land. The art and skill of cueing yoga on a board will be taught and practiced. 6. Teaching Practice-You will practice a 30 minute mini class from set up to finish. 7. Learn a one hour SUP Surf Yoga Flow. This unique flow incorporates yoga, pilates principles. primitive patterning and surfing conditioning drills to improve core coordination and challenge the nervous system to create new movement skills and abilities. Naturally improve focus and presence for an expanded experience of STOKE!Participants do NOT have to have the WPA level 1 cert since there will be no paddling the boards. Participants WILL have to pass a written exam and pass a competency skills check list during their mini teaching session to receive official certification and the opportunity to teach classes for Cypress Roots SUP School.Don’t miss this rare opportunity to get ALL the skills and knowledge you need to expand your outdoor teaching &amp; lifestyle!
