The Bronzeville Community Clubhouse

Heal with Teal is an ongoing campaign by Rwebel to support survivors of trauma. In 2017, Rwebel’s founder, Javanna Plummer, experienced trauma and received support to help her cope with that trauma. In order to ensure that never happened to any other victim of violence, she first launched a “Noise” series for Rwebel, which raised awareness about sexual and domestic violence and its effect on Black women. In 2022, she wanted to take this awareness further by starting the “Heal with Teal” initiatives.At this inaugural event hosted for and by survivors, there will be food, entertainment, and enrichment provided to not only aid in the healing process but spread awareness on how violence impacts different communities.
