30-Second First Impression Workshop

City of Ferndale, Community and Economic Development Department:The City of Ferndale Community and Economic Development Department (CED) works with all community stakeholders to improve Ferndale's quality of life.Build Institute:We help people turn their business ideas into reality by providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and support network in Detroit. To date, we have graduated over 1000 aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs from our classes, many of whom have gone on to start successful businesses in the city.

<P CLASS="p1">– Understand why having an elevator pitch at the ready is essential for everyone</P>
<P CLASS="p1">– Identify the key elements of an elevator pitch</P>
<P CLASS="p1">– Create and tweak a personalized two-minute elevator pitch</P>
<P CLASS="p1">– Practice delivering their elevator pitch in pairs and to the group</P>
<P CLASS="p1">– Distill their elevator pitch down to one concise, impactful sentence!</P>
