***SPOTLIGHT webinars focus on select, high-priority topics within the 3-Part HR Essentials Series.

Issues surrounding the Aging Workforce have emerged as a major HR focus in recent years. For these older employees, understanding retirement and healthcare benefits is a top priority- and often a source of considerable stress. For employees who are married, or were previously married, preparing to transition into retirement, prudent planning requires a solid understanding of the ‘Benefits by Marriage’ provided by Social Security.

This concentrated, yet easy-to-understand, 30-minute webinar looks at the important core components of these ‘Benefits by Marriage. Several Case Studies will be used to bring these important issues into clear focus.

Content covered in this presentation includes...

• Eligibility Requirements for Benefits by Marriage

• The 50% Spouse Benefit

• Benefits for Divorced Spouses

• The 100% Survivor (Widow) Benefit

• Benefits for Divorced Survivors (Widows)

• Maximum Family Benefits

2. Learn the specifics of Benefits provided to Spouses, ex-Spouses, and Survivors (Widows).

The Turning 65 Workshop provides Social Security & Medicare virtual learning programs designed specifically for the workplace. It was created in 2016 by Thomas Wright, a former financial advisor who specialized in employee benefits for more than 30 years. Tom saw first-hand how both older employees and HR professionals often struggled to understand and navigate the filing decisions required by these foundational American retirement programs.

In addition to 'consumer-leve'l presentations for older employees, we conduct a variety of educational webinars on topics of interest to HR professionals. These programs cover essential, high-priority information that's always delivered in an engaging and easily understandable format!

As an Approved Provider for SHRM, HRCI, and World at Work, our programs are pre-approved by these HR organizations for recertification credit. (Note: Credit awarded for participation in live webinar sessions only, not for viewing a webinar recording.)

"The webinar was amazingly helpful. If you have older employees struggling to understand Medicare or Social Security this contnet will be invaluable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"
