About this event

Join our online book club as we read Ilse Sand’s nourishing book “Highly Sensitive People in an Insensitive World.” While everyone has a sensitive side, 1 in 3 people are biologically hardwired to be more sensitive than others. We are “the highly sensitive” ones.
As a highly sensitive person, you have a rich inner life & an aptitude for depth. You see connections that others miss. It’s also likely that you’re very creative. Sometimes, your deep attunement can leave you feeling overstimulated or overwhelmed. You may feel this in big crowds or when you’re socializing.
As sensitives, we can also struggle with feeling like we belong. In a world that often sees sensitivity negatively (“Don’t be so sensitive!”), we can often feel like an outsider.
Understanding that our sensitivity is an intrinsic part of us AND that we are not alone & others have similar experiences can be deeply validating.
Facilitated by Ritu Kaushal, author of the book The Empath’s Journey, we will meet on Zoom once a month from June to August to discuss this book.
SCHEDULE: We will meet on Zoom on June 6, July 11, and August 1 from 5 pm to 6:30 pm Pacific Time.

If you want to connect with your authentic self & are looking to meet other sensitive people, you will love this book club!
