2nd Wednesday Peer CEU Series:
Peers Supervising Peers
PLEASE NOTE:
This is a hybrid event. You can attend in person or on-line. This is the on-line registration. To register for the in-person event, click here.
Supervising peers is largely the same as supervising anyone else -- however there are some differences. There can also be challenges when you are also a peer. This class looks to discuss some of the critical mistakes peers make when supervising other peers to help you be a better supervisor.
Please note: This class is for peers supervising peers. If you are not a peer you are still welcome to attend, but the information is geared toward peers supervising peers. Thank you.
Learning Objectives:
Setting boundaries -- just because you can relate, doesn't mean it's okay
Understanding reasonable accommodations and what is required by the ADA
Managing ethical issues that arise in the dual role (peer and supervisor)
Whether you are new to peer support or have worked in the field for years, this class is for you! This presentation provides opportunities for interaction and Q&A. Come and learn all about peers supervising peers!
Class presented by:
