The Coalition Theater is thrilled to present its 7th Annual 2ND BEST FEST, running June 6-8, featuring improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy acts from all over the US, crammed into 3 magical nights at 2 different venues!
Workshop Description:
Let’s polish up your sketches! Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre teacher and house sketch team director, Chris Renfro, invites you to bring in your already written sketches to be workshopped in a writer’s room-style environment. Come prepared to collaborate in an intimate group, read each other's sketches aloud, and receive constructive feedback. Attend as an individual, a writing duo, or even a team! Laptop, tablet, or similar electronic reading device is required.
Chris Renfro (they/them) is an instructor at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles as well as a sketch director and Harold Night performer. They co-produce and host the sold-out hit variety show, Gaysian AF. Highlighted TV & Film credits include Queer as Folk (Peacock), The L Word: Generation Q (Showtime), Good Trouble (Freeform), Reno 911!, and the MTV original movie, Pretty Stoned.
