About this event

  • 2 hours

The unwavering nature of traffic injury and fatality can often leave advocates and survivors alike feeling hopeless about the issue at hand. A persistent problem calls for persistent efforts to effect change. While there is still work to be done, change is possible.

Join Walk Safe Long Island, the New York Coalition for Transportation Safety, the Long Island Health Collaborative, and your fellow advocates and community members for the 2nd Annual Walk Bike LI Summit to address traffic injury and fatality on Long Island.

Expert panelists representing advocacy, enforcement, and engineering will discuss actionable solutions to address the unacceptable and preventable levels of traffic injury and fatality on Long Island, particularly pertaining to pedestrians, cyclists, and other vulnerable road users.

Whether you’re an advocate, traffic safety professional, or a concerned community member, you are a change agent. Join us at the Summit to renew your enthusiasm and dedication to changing our roads for the better.
