This year's symposium will delve into the critical theme of "Advancing Health Equity in Acquired Brain Injury Across the Lifespan". We look forward to exploring innovative strategies to enhance neuroscience-related healthcare outcomes, with a dedicated emphasis on underserved communities and diverse patient populations. The symposium will feature distinguished speakers with expertise in stroke care, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and epilepsy. There will be dedicated opportunities for interprofessional and interinstitutional networking, as well as panel discussions with symposium speakers and esteemed members of the Downstate community.

  • Apply interdisciplinary approaches to address the complex challenges associated with acquired brain injury.
