The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) is a premier cultural destination and community gathering place in Central Florida, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. <h1>Creative Sculpture &amp; Castings: 2D Miniature Workshop</h1><h2>Instructor: Kent Arblaster</h2><p><strong>This workshop will take place over two days (Saturday, October 22nd and Sunday, October 23rd from 1:00-4:00 pm)</strong></p><p>In this 2-day workshop, learn how to design and create your own 2D artwork inspired by J. Andre Smith&#x27;s Maitland Art Center reliefs. On day one, you will tour the Maitland Art Center and select one of Smith&#x27;s reliefs to replicate. Afterward, create a miniature version of the relief in wax sculpture and make a silicone rubber mold. On day two, you will mix and pour acrylic into your mold for curing and finish your art with paints, dyes, and other decorative materials.</p><p>______________________________________________________________________________________________________</p><p>Workshop is for adults 18 and over. Registration is $75 (materials and tools included, pewter available for purchase at $5 per piece). </p><p>Location: Maitland Art Center-Studio 10, 231 W. Packwood Ave., Maitland, FL 32751.</p>
