Come have fun on the farm at the 29th Annual Farm and Tractor Days at Dry Creek Ranch in Rio Linda, Friday and Saturday, May 17-18, 9 am-4 pm both days. This free interactive event is fun for all ages who live in or long for the country. Parking is a $2 donation.
- See displays and demonstrations of vintage tractors, hit-and-miss engines, and other farm equipment!
- Meet farm animals!
- Go on a tractor-pulled hay ride!
- Tour the Dry Creek Ranch House museum! (Tours at 9 and 3 pm both days.)
Friday is a great day for field trips and children’s groups to visit.
Special events on Saturday include a swap meet starting at 7 am and a tractor parade at 2 pm.
Local vendors will be selling their wares, and food will be provided by the Rio Linda American Legion and Rio Linda/Elverta Food Closet.
Each day will begin with a flag-raising ceremony at 10 am by the Rio Linda Junior ROTC on Friday and Boy Scouts on Saturday.
