SHAKE IT OFF! with TRE: Tension and Trauma Release Exercises

TRE® (Tension, Stress and Trauma Releasing Exercises) is an innovative series of simple exercises which assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma by inducing a gentle muscular shaking response. TRE involve 7 easy exercises to fatigue the body enough to encourage natural healing through Neurogenic Tremors

What is a neurogenic tremor?It's also known as therapeutic or neurogenic tremoring, a phrase coined by David Berceli, PhD. The approach involves shaking the body to release tension and trauma, helping to regulate the nervous system.Small class, perfect for people whom:1. have never done TRE before and want a more attentive online group experience2. have only done one or two classes3. want a refresher4. just want to enjoy having a guided class5. want to explore adjustment.

Reported benefits include a decrease in chronic pain and muscular tension, less worry and anxiety, greater emotional resiliency﻿, feeling calmer, more peaceful and having increased flexibility.

What do you need - all these items important for an optimal experience:**1. Stable Internet Connection***2. Set up so that I will be able to see your WHOLE BODY head to toe for standing exercises against the wall preferable from a side angle.***3. Ability to quickly change the angle (less than 5minutes) so that I can see your whole body from the side angle or top when you're on the floor.*4. Yoga Mat**5. Small thin pillows or towels to roll up to rest your neck, lower back and bottom.*6. Keep drinking water within safe reach. *we will energize it together at the start of the session***7. Wear comfortable loose clothes - NO BELTS, NOTHING TIGHT, NO JEANS. For your bottoms wear light colors - avoid dark colors like black, blue, dark green, dark brown etc. So I can properly observe you. ***Especially important if this is your first time taking a TRE class so I can make sure you're doing it right.If you are unsure of your set up you can send me pictures of the space from the angle I'll be watching you. Please send at least two pictures, one of the standing angle and one laying down.You can also arrange a 5 min call with me prior to the session to show me your set up.

If you have any kind of physical injuries or issues (back pains, spinal injury, leg injury, metal implants in your limbs, vertigo) that will prevent you from safely and painlessly bending backwards or forwards, bending your knees, squatting motion, lifting your hips when you're on the ground and such, please ask me prior to signing up so we can decide if this class is suitable for you or if a one on one session would serve you better.
