Brazilian blues artist Artur Menezes is the latest pearl to emerge from the exclusive Rio de Janeiro quarry. A young composer, singer and guitarist who, despite having been in the business for more than a decade, has only recently seen his name and his music transcend significantly.His style cannot deny the debts with the most classic blues, although it also contains subtle or significant influences (depending on the moment) of soul, funk and baião (popular music of northeastern Brazil).
