UIC Healthy Start Program

Our Community Action Network (CAN) is open to everyone who is concerned about the health and wellbeing of South Side Chicago Communities.

Our UIC Healthy Start Community Action Network (CAN) is comprised of concerned community members, community-based organizations, health &amp; faith institutions, civic organizations (fire &amp; police departments), government, and other groups committed to working together to improve the health and wellness of the families in our communities.CAN offers an opportunity to:<ul><li>Network with neighbors, community residents, community partners, etc</li></ul><ul><li>Make a positive impact in your community</li></ul><ul><li>Be a leader for change</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in advocacy activities</li></ul><ul><li>Gain and practice new skills and much more</li></ul>Our CAN will be continuing the learning disccusion course called The Roots of Health Inequity. (Optional: If you would like to join our group online, please click the link below. You must register for a free account using your preferred email address. A Password will be sent to you and you will be prompted to create your own password.
