Award-winning pianist Oda Voltersvik from Bergen, Norway, performs neo-classical masterpieces and lesser-known Norwegian composers in this unique FREE community concert.For more info and recordings, visit: www.odavoltersvik.comOda Voltersvik has performed at prestigious international venues including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and the Norwegian Opera House. She holds a Master in Performance from the Royal College of Music and and Artist Diploma from Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London. She is project leader the Volt Ensemble, a member of Volt&amp;Potenza duo and has newly started the series "Volt Classics" in Bergen. Her recordings has received great reviews internationally and she is a 1st prize winner of the Bradshaw&amp;Buono International Competition. Oda is a recipient of the Norwegian Arts Council`s work grant (2021-2022). Year 2022 includes a performance with the Northport Symphony Orchestra.The recording “NEO” will be released by Rubicon Classics May 2022 including neo-classical works by Russian composers. The recital will be a celebration of the release with works by Händel, Grieg, Shostakovich, Inger Bang Lund, Gubaidulina and Tord Kalvenes (1989-).Her U.S. concert tour (March 20 - April 2) has received support from the Fund for Performing Artists Norway (FFUK) among others.
