PLEASE NOTE THAT REGISTRATION IS FOR ONLINE PARTICIPATION THROUGH OUR INTERACTIVE HYBRID EVENT PLATFORM.Aspire Artemis Foundation has selected a hybrid platform that is cutting edge and immersive. It allows our hybrid audience to interact with, and ask questions directly to the in person attendees and speakers of the event. There will be competitions, lounge areas, photo booths, games and much more to allow you to be fully engaged for the entirety of the event. At Aspire Artemis, We Equip, Empower and Educate the next generation of Leaders! The lack of visible female representation in technical fields such as science, technology, engineering and math make it difficult for girls and young women to envision themselves pursuing roles that will shape future technologies. The Aspire Artemis Foundation believes that the inclusion of Arts and culture in STEM education and programming not only spurs innovation but increases opportunities for women to pursue typical STEM careers.Journeys in STE(A)M: Inclusion, Innovation + Impact: A Global Symposium is a multiple day hybrid event designed to inspire girls and young women through exposure to STE(A)M based careers and Innovation. The two following questions will frame discussions to be held at the symposium:What practical aspects of changing perceptions allow for exploring talent fully, providing sustainable and rewarding career paths for young women and girls? What specific regional policy actions will drive enhanced opportunities for young women and girls to pursue STE(A)M studies and careers?AAF, will be addressing these questions through a combination of keynote addresses, interactive workshops, group discussions, a hackathon as well an art and science exhibition and a career fair. In addition, Journeys in STE(A)M: Inclusion, Innovation + Impact will include remarks from thought leaders, specialists in STE(A)M, government, policymakers, regional government heads, as well as, surprise celebrity guests and musical performances! The Aspire Artemis Foundation (AAF) trains, build capacity, and empowers young women and girls from marginalized communities to be the next generation of STEAM leaders. AAF employs a three-pronged approach that is focused on Education, Mentorships, and Internship/Apprenticeships, otherwise known as EMI (pronounced "Emmie"). We utilize EMI to enhance the traditional educational experience to inspire young women and girls to shape their own pathways towards a successful life. The Foundation implements this approach through a variety of avenues, this symposium being one of them. The symposium will be two days of events that inspire and drive innovation and creativity with a broad community, including youth representatives from across the region, specialists in the STEAM areas and thought leaders.Speakers include:Honourable Dr. Natalio D.
