Your family stories are important.  Join us for free information sessions & an opportunity to share your family's history.

Join us for our free Family History Scanning Days. Speak with an archivist and curator about identifying and preserving your family&#x27;s history. Learn more about dating your family&#x27;s records, how to conduct family research using free resources, and how to care for your family&#x27;s records.Get started: free on-line information sessions (please register for Zoom link)<ul><li>Tuesday March 29 2-2:30 pm (best for family researchers)</li><li>Wednesday March 30 7-7:30 pm (best for family researchers)</li></ul>On-site Consultation Workshop for Nonprofit Organizations:<ul><li>Historical Society &amp; House of Worship Archivist Training Workshop: Thursday June 23 1-3 pm – free for Albany County historical societies, library groups, nonprofits, and houses of worship</li></ul>On-site Family History Scanning Events: 1-3:30 pm in Ten Broeck Mansion gardens. Free archival supplies (acid-free folders and white cotton gloves). Opportunity to have your family&#x27;s record professionally scanned for inclusion in researcher resources (not required).
