<p>Wine is one of our favorite foods, but we often don’t think about it that way. We care about the other food we put into our bodies - where it comes from and how it&#x27;s farmed. We want to know what’s in it and how it is processed. So let&#x27;s learn what all of this looks like in wine... you may be very surprised at what you find out!</p><p>Class will be led by Billie Joyce Helmkay. Billie Joyce is the owner of Thru the Vines a wine education and consulting company. She holds the coveted WSET Diploma, a certificate of viticulture and spent 2 years in the prestigious Masters of Wine Program. Billie has also spent the past 15 years working in the wine industry including restaurants and running retail shops and a small distribution company. Her passion is helping people make more informed wine buying decisions and introduce them to new and different wines that come from smaller producers and winemakers.</p>
