Retreat, Reflect, Renew

We have all experienced a lot over the past two years of this pandemic. Reflect on how your experience can be an invitation to a deeper relationship with God and wider call to move forward with compassion and hope. Give yourself three hours to reflect, pray, and share ways to experience a meaningful Lenten season.You can expect: <ul><li>Prayer with silence, music, and word </li><li>Personal reflection time with an interactive exercise </li><li>The sharing of ideas for a meaningful Lent (sharing is always optional and guided by a set of agreements ensuring confidentiality and non-judgement). </li></ul>Share with Friends: Invite a group of friends over to your home or share the retreat with your faith-sharing group. <ul><li>When we send out handouts in the preview email, we will send suggestions and resources on how to share the retreat with others. Preview emails are sent out the Monday and Friday before the retreat. </li><li>During the small-group breakout times on Zoom, we will invite you to share with your in-person group and tell you what time to re-join the retreat online.</li><li>The retreat will be recorded and sent out to registrants within 24 hours so you can share with your friends at a time that works for your group. </li></ul>

Christine Jurisich is an author, retreat facilitator, and founder of Retreat, Reflect, Renew ministry. She is a Mercy Associate currently in a graduate program studying Mercy spirituality. She has been in retreat ministry for the past fifteen years. Before that, she was a TV reporter and anchor for ten years. Christine appreciates Zoom retreats because it is the opportunity to connect with people from all over the world with meaningful conversation and special prayer time. Shannon Dahlstedt is a spiritual director, trained through the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation. She has led faith-sharing groups and parish retreats for the past ten years, and played guitar in her church choir during the same period. Shannon loves reading, writing, and listening to others stories, quietly discerning the holy thread that connects us all. Most at home in nature, Shannon is drawn to contemplative prayer, and especially enjoys sharing the practice with others.
