Join SSN-NC for a virtual panel of experts focused on addressing the impact of institutional white supremacy, prejudice, and race-evasive policies and practices perpetuated through organizational and interpersonal structures in the Academy. The cumulative effect of such policies is that faculty &amp; students in post-secondary institutions are denied the opportunity the participate in robust and meaningful learning environments which advance anti-racist systems and an overall just society. Our distinguished panelists will include: <ul><li>Dr. Anas Askar; Assistant Professor at Rosemont College</li><li>Dr. Ron Hirschein; Professor Emeritus at California State University, Chico</li><li>Dr. Keisha Bentley-Edwards; Assistant Professor at Duke School of Medicine</li></ul>This event is organized by the SSN-NC working group on Tenure, the Academy, and Knowledge Creation (Ashley Kazouh, The Public School Forum of North Carolina; Dr. Amin Asfari, Wake Technical College)
