Cooking for Ukraine - Varenyky, Ukrainian dumplings

Foodpoint offers pierogi classes & party, family-style dinners, and baking classes. Classes  can take place in-person at customer homes, in a rented commercial kitchen or virtual.Our classes are a mix of demonstrations and hands-on learning. I will take you step-by-step through every recipe and you can ask questions along the way! All classes are adaptable to all ages, and I'll leave you with printed recipes so you can recreate it over and over again.

<h3>We will be donating 100% of the registration fees for this class to UNICEF to support their efforts in raising money to help children and families who have become refugees during the Russia-Ukraine war!</h3>Get a taste of Ukrainian/Polish cooking and learn how to make varenyky from scratch for a good cause. We&#x27;ll be making varenyky filled with potatoes, farmers cheese, and sauteed onions.**********Born in Poland, Angela fled with her parents and sister to the neighboring country of Germany. Her parents wanted a better future for her, and her sister. Angela was raised cooking meals with her family. Varenyky (called pierogi in Poland) are a very unique East European dish which reflect the country&#x27;s traditions. The recipe has been passed down through generations.This cooking class provides fun and enjoyment for everyone. You&#x27;ll learn to make a very traditional dish with Angela as she delights you with stories of her heritage and her Polish/German life in general.**********This class is fully interactive!What do I need to buy and prep: The recipe with all instructions will be mailed upon registration. Prep time will be 20 minutes.How to join after registration: Connect to your host on zoom using your computer, tablet or mobile device.
