There's no assigned reading, so feel free to bring whatever you'd like to read—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books—it's BYOBook. Liberated from the traditional book club format, you can chat about anything before and after the 11AM/12PM reading time.
Our goal is to create a space where we can connect with like-minded individuals, even if all we have in common is a love of reading. So there's less pressure to contribute to one single conversation or to make insightful comments about one particular book.
The event is free, and everyone is welcome. The 29 Palms Silent Book Club is organised by Twentynine Palms Book Festival &Desert General.
