At Independence, Inc., we remove barriers and achieve dreams for people with disabilities. The Independence, Inc. Chili Bowl is a competition between area restaurants to find out who makes the best chili in town. Winners are determined by members of the public who attend the event, as well as a select group of celebrity judges. In addition to trying chili from multiple restaurants, the event will include live music, and the opportunity to bid on a large variety of silent auction items.Independence, Inc. is a Resource Center for Independent Living. Our Mission is to advocate for the freedom of choice for individuals with disabilities to live independently through the removal of all barriers. You can learn more about our organization by visiting www.independencecil.org. All money collected through this event will be used towards the Building Dreams Capital Campaign.
