Choice

The American History Theater is dedicated to education and social awareness through theater, while working creatively to address many of the most difficult issues affecting our community’s veterans, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder associated with combat or Military Sexual Trauma. We seek to provide education, inspiration and healing in our continuing mission to raise awareness through the arts.

In our first original, copywrighted play written by Alli Mayville, we explore the pervasive issue of bullying from a new perspective. This abstract play explores the American epidemic of bullying from the perspectives of different, relatable characters and the embodiments of their Self Esteem, the World they live in and the Choice we all have moment to moment. We are exceptionally proud of this very important show but wish to issue a trigger warning prior to debut. Our show broaches difficult topics to include self harm and suicide.
