Who Are We<a href="https://www.bemoreyoucommunity.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Be More You</a> are a collective of runners who are passionate about community and mental health. Our mission is to support runners and communities worldwide with positive mental health and guidance. We do this through a series of online and offline events, talks, webinars and by creating safe spaces for runners to come and be their authentic selves, without fear of judgement or criticism. A space where runners can come to listen, be heard or just be present to the moment, while learning new skills to improve their mental wellbeing and outlook on life.Because your mental health is important!The EventCome and join our community for an in person check-in, where we encourage you to be yourself, a 5K run (bag drop available), rounded off with a short mindfulness meditation at the White Post in Hackney Wick, London.This is a fantastic opportunity to meet the team, likeminded runners, try out some of our signature wellbeing exercises and learn more about our mission at Be More You.Agenda10.30am - 11.00am: Meet, greet and coffee11.01am - 11.45am: Warm up, 5km easy paced run in Victoria Park (with one or two ice breaker exercises), and cool down with Fotini Staddon and Sha Hussain11.46 - 1pm: Hold a space for mental wellbeing check-in and free listening for the public in Victoria Park, next to the Pavillion Cafe (weather permitting otherwise we head back to the White Post).1.01pm-2.00pm Return to The White Post for a short meditation and optional social/lunchAward winning wellbeing consultant and founder of Be More You, <a href="https://www.thewellnessmovement.co.uk/new-page-2" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sha Hussain</a> shall be hosting the event, supported by our community run leader, Fotini Staddon.Everyone is welcome, all that we ask is that you are able to run at least 5km without stopping.Please note: we have limited availability for this event.We look forward to welcoming you!Big love! ❤️Sha HussainMessage us with any questions sha@thewellnessmovement.co.uk
