Virtual Mental Health First Aid-Adult Course

Do you know what to do if someone close to you is having a mental health challenge?We can help you help them in the moment.Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based program designed to help community members identify and assist in mental health issues that friends, family members, coworkers, or neighbors are experiencing. Updated content in 2020 includes this virtual model that has 2 hours of self-directed pre-work and then 6 hours of instructor-led Zoom training. CEUs may be available for some professions in some states, but are not provided by MHA Kentucky.This course is offered free of charge to residents of Kentucky thanks to grant from Kentucky Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DBHDID). In other words, the state wants you to have this training so badly they will PAY for it! Take advantage!Not from Kentucky? You can still join us. But we need you to pay to cover the instructor time and the slot in the virtual learning system. Your fee is $40, which we have reduced from the expected rate of $175.
