Friends of the Angel is a Non Profit IRS § 501(c)3 volunteer group honoring our loved ones who are no longer with us, at the Angel of Hope Statue located at the Maple Grove Arboretum in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

Join us on May 7, 2022in remembering your loved ones by participating in our 12th Annual Walk to Remember around Rice Lake in Maple Grove.  This year’s walk will consist of the following:•	We will be offering a variety of snacks and treats! Feel free to bring your own lunch, seats, and/or blankets. There will be limited tables for seating.•	Friends of the Angel is GOING GREEN - We encourage attendees to bring their own water bottle to minimize our plastic water bottle usage (limited quantities will be available at the Walk).T-shirts are included with all pre-registrations. FAQs:What can/can&#x27;t I bring to the event? We encourage you to leave your pets at home. Also, please bring your own water as water bottles will be limited at this event. You may bring your own seats &amp; blankets as well. This is a non-smoking event.What are my parking options at the event? There are two lots available at the Arboretum and additional parking is available at Arbor View Early Childhood Center and the Emmanuel Christian Center (northwest corner of 93rd Avenue and Fernbrook Lane). Attendants will be in place to direct traffic.What facilities are available? Portable restrooms will be available.What time should I arrive for same day registration? We encourage you to arrive by 9:00 am, but recommend registering by April 10 to guarantee a T-shirt. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? It is helpful but not required. What is the weather cancellation policy? This is a rain or shine event.Are there individual, family, group, or company sponsorships available for this event? Yes we have three levels of sponsorships. Your sign can include one of the following: a photograph, a poem, or other artwork. Submission is due by April 10, 2022. We promise to do our best to make sure all signs are completed as specified; however, no refunds will be given.After purchasing a &#x27;ticket&#x27; for a Photo Remembrance Sign, you will receive a link to a Google Form where you can upload one high resolution digital photo/artwork file and add personalized text limited to 2 lines with 25 characters max, such as:First, Middle, Last NameSept 30, 1964 - Mar 29, 2006See the image below some examples of previous years personalized photo remembrance signs.
