Intro to Archery 4-H Camp

The St. Johns County 4-H Youth Development Program is a community wide effort to make the best better in St. Johns County youth from ages 5-18.  We have programs year round and camps during the summer from September-August that cover a wide variety of topics including : science, citizenship, leadership and healthy lifestyles.  All of our volunteer leaders and staff are nationally background screened and trained specifically to work with specialized youth activities.  Please visit our website and review all of the options for participating within the 4-H program during the summer and throughout the school year.  Please contact us if you have any questions.

This camp is designed for youth intending to join the Toxophily 4-H Archery Club in September 2022. In addition to camp attendance, participants must show they are focused, disciplined, and able to follow directions to be eligible for the Toxophily 4-H Archery Club. Campers must not have enrolled in this camp before. Archers will have plenty of hands-on time shooting. To comply with 4-H archery safety requirements, archers must wear closed- toe shoes and tie their hair back. To ensure everyone's saftey, the safety briefing will begin at 9:10 and if a child misses the safety briefing they will not be allowed to shoot. Bring your own lunch, lots of water, and bug spray. Non-shooting activities will be in the climate-controlled schoolhouse. We will be shooting in the covered arena rain or shine.
