If so, we created this tour for you! Baltimore is full of hundreds of black-owned businesses. This tour makes it easy to shop, taste, and sip from local, regional, and national brands. This walking tour covers some of the most rapidly developing and newly evolving business districts in the city. Peek behind the scenes and hear about their journey and love of the city. As a special treat for the CIAA Tournament guests each tour date includes a special treat. Take the tour once or come back each day. Thursday: Mess in a Bottle.A behind the scene look and shopping experience. Guests on Thurday’s tour get to see where “Mess” and the magic happens. Hear from the team, take a spin around the shop (not typically open to the public, and shop with a special 30% off discounts for purchases made during the tour. Fill your bags. Let “Mess” help you make a statement at tournament events or have your purchase shipped home to avoid those excess baggage fees or avoid toting your “fifty- eleven” bags down the streets of Baltimore. We end the tour just blocks away from the start point at this popular one day event. Featured shops include tour stops Cajou Creamery and Cuples Tea House, as well as Vegan Juiceology. Taste the best and most amazing variety of ice cream flavor from around the world from the southern favorite of sweet potato pie to Horchata and Mexican Cacao ice cream. It is all dairy free. We pride ourselves on offering guests an experience that makes you forget you are on a tour and leaves you feeling like you had a day out for a friend - who knows a whole lot about the city and has “the plug” here and there. COVID-19 : This event is perfect for those who want to avoid enclosed space with large crowds. All tours offer social fun with physical distance. Most of the tour is outdoors. This allows guests to move around and enjoy the experience while governing their distance accordingly. Most stores require a mask. We like to be good “house” guests - please bring and wear your mask where required. Getting there: These tours depart from the Mt. Vernon Marketplace, in Baltimore’s Mt. Vernon neighborhood. From the Inner Harbor, Baltimore Arena, and Convention Center, take the Light Rail or Charm City Circulator “Purple Line” or the “Light Rail” (get off at the Center St Stop). FAQsWhat Should I bring? Mask, Credit Card and payment apps, comfortable shoes.Will we enter businesses? Tours may include entry to some shops. Shipping and carrying purchases? You may hold your purchases at the stores. Shipping is also available.What payment options are available? Cash payments are discouraged. Credit card and payment apps are encouraged. Most stores are cashless. When is the regular tour season? Private group tours are available by request all year. Tour season is April - October.The Tour: First, we will meet at the start point. We will then do a few introductions, collect waivers, then depart. There are seven (7)stops, maybe more. Plan to enter at least 3 spaces. The tour ends within two (2) blocks of the start point.Start Time and Refunds: The tour will start at the time on your ticket. No refunds will be provided for late arrivals.Tour Length: Plan to walk 1.5 miles. Tours cover 1.5 miles and should take approximately 2.5 hours including stops, shopping, and tastingWhat to Wear: Wear comfortable shoes. What is included? The tour price includes all tasting and shopping discounts. These offerings are not available after the tour. Rain date and refunds: If the chance of rain is 40% or more between the the first three hours of your tour the day of the ride, we will approve refunds to anyone who requests one at least one hour before the start of the tour (email info@bikeandbrunchtours.com) by 8:00am the day of the ride. We will also allow you to credit your payment to another tour.Waiver: All riders must sign a liability waiver before the ride departs. Reservation/ advance purchase: This is a reservation only tour. Minors are the responsibility of the adult participant. Note no alcohol consumption is allowed by anyone under the age of 21 under any circumstance.What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Parking is available on the street and in paid parking garages adjacent to the start address. Public transportation stops are within one block of the start address. What's the refund policy? See above references to refunds. Do not purchase tickets from third parties or solicitors on social media. Please contact us directly via email or messenger with questions. In circumstances where refunds are permitted, you must request such in writing prior to the tour.Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? All participants must have a ticket with a name that matches a state or federal ID. Contact us with questions about transferring tickets. Do not purchase tickets from 3rd parties.
