We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Click here to join today.</a></p><h2>Spring Ayurvedic Reset &amp; Cleanse: Well Being &amp; Balance</h2><h3>Domains: Body, Healing Work</h3><p>Ayurveda literally means 'science of life'. This ancient practice is adapted and practical for our modern world. The focus is on well being and balance. In this cleanse you will not be juicing or doing any fad diets. Instead it will be rooted on how to incorporate more well being through the natural environment, shifting how you relate to food. You will learn how to work with food, cook, approachable meditation and movement practices and journal each week. You can choose how much or how little you would like to participate in the actual cleanse and gain tools that you can use after the series is over.</p><p>In this 5 week Spring series:</p><ul><li>The actual cleanse will only be for 1 week, prior and after the cleanse you will gain tools to prepare the body and afterwards support on how to create a more sustainable home practice.</li><li>We will focus on movement, food and lifestyle shifts to adjust to the Spring</li><li>Take a pause from your daily habits with a support of the group and gain new habits that welcome overall wellbeing and balance</li><li>Tips for setting up your kitchen, seasonal food and shopping lists</li><li>Reset and rekindle your digestion</li><li>We will have entire sessions devoted to cooking, recipes and setting up your space for the cleanse</li><li>Mindful Food Habits and ways to reconnect to our intuition and creative connection to food</li><li>Sustainable practices that are approachable and guided by the choices we are making every day</li><li>An understanding of the elements, our constitutions and those of our loved ones</li><li>An understanding of the elemental forces connected to the seasons and how they affect our everyday lives</li><li>Meditations and embodied movement practices that are connected to the seasons</li><li>Support of a group and community to share experiences through the 5 week cohort</li></ul><p>Sonya Verma MHSA, MBI is the founder of Inner Radiant Life, a yoga and meditation facilitator, Ayurvedic WellnessCounselor, and Reiki Master Practitioner with a passion for discovering the intersection of creative expression and healing in a community-based setting. Honoring her Eastern Indian heritage and Western upbringing she brings a unique approach to her work that is heart-centered, compassionate, and empowering. She weaves her training from different modalities of somatic healing from various yoga traditions and trauma research with a centralized focus on embodiment practices. Practice is not evaluated by aesthetic alignment in yoga poses but a deeper connection to the, often ignored, more subtle parts of oneself. Through present awareness, humor, and trust, she believes we can develop a more loving and accepting relationship with ourselves where true healing lies.</p><p>Sonya facilitates retreats, leading groups of adults and children through meditation, yoga, and sound. She has projects in underserved communities and with Bhutanese Refugees in the region by leading yoga and mindfulness-based practices. Through her gift of holding space and creating a safe and nurturing environment, she encourages people to explore, grow, and have a deeper connection to themselves and others. Her training includes certified Ayurvedic Lifestyle Wellness Counselor with the Shakti School of Ayurveda, 500HR RYT Yoga Facilitator, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) facilitator, True Body Project Leader, and HealthRHYTHMS Facilitator.</p><h3>Your Zoom link will be sent with your registration confirmation.
