Women's Month Events March 2022

Join local businesses collaborating to celebrate Women's History Month, and International Women's Day. Each event is tailored to celebrating womanhood, and highlighting self-empowerment.

<h3>What does empowerment mean to you? What does that look like?</h3><p>Are you in lingerie, or sweatpants? Maybe a suit, or ball gown! </p><p>We are seeking five participants for a Self-Empowerment Mini Session Marathon, on International Women's Day 3/8/22.</p><h3>Women need the opportunity to be seen, if even just by themselves! </h3><p>The session fee (ticket price) will be donated to Center for Community Solutions.</p>

This is not an issue of the photography, but more out of sensitivity to how some survivors may react to boudoir photography that has nothing to do with the positives of this form. Thank you for your understanding.</blockquote><h3>Local female-owned businesses are donating hair/makeup, each participant will receive gift bags, and one lucky lady will win a prize from Savage X Fenty!</h3>

<h3>In order to apply for a spot, you must agree to the following:</h3><ul><li>Participants will have the opportunity to purchase their photos as beautiful artwork, and will receive social media files of any purchased images.</li><li>The full process will include in-person consultations before the event where we discuss what empowerment means to each participant, and help them set intentions. We will then design a photo concept unique to them, and discuss potential outfits.</li></ul><p>Sophie Hague of <a href="https://www.positivephee.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Positive Phee</a> has offered additional 30 min styling consultations participants can elect to schedule separately.</p><ul><li>Be prepared to be open and vulnerable to allow for this full process to take hold.</li></ul><ul><li>A second consultation to be scheduled after the photos are ready for viewing. Together we will check in on your experience, how your integration is going, and pick out artwork.</li></ul><ul><li>Model release must be signed </li></ul><p></p>

By attending you acknowledge and agree to the following: </p><p></p><p>COVID-19: The event is face mask optional. While many attendees are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, in person event participation includes possible exposure to and risk of infection from COVID-19. Do NOT attend if you are sick or within the past 10 days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, including fever, cough, and shortness of breath. </p><p></p><p>MINORS: Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult, and if you do not want your child(ren) to be photographed, please work with the event sponsors directly. *see PHOTOGRAPHY below</p><p></p><p>FOOD &amp; DRINK: The event may include alcoholic beverages and you must be 21+ to consume alcohol. Attendees acknowledge that they are aware of the risks of participation including food sickness and allergic reactions. </p><p></p><p>PHOTOGRAPHY: Photography and videos may be taken during the event by sponsors and attendees. Photos and videos of the event and attendees may be used in marketing, publicity, and social media. </p><p></p><p>WAIVER OF LIABILITY: By attending the event, and in light of the above, you acknowledge the inherent risks of participation and agree to voluntarily assume all risks. You agree not to hold any event sponsors or attendees liable for any illness or injury that may occur. Any reliance you place on the information, products, or services provided is strictly at your own risk. You agree that sponsors and attendees are not liable for any decisions made or actions taken in reliance on information provided. </p><p></p><p>PAYMENT &amp; CANCELLATION Full advance payment is required to attend. Please note that reimbursements for cancellations or no-shows will not be given so be absolutely sure you're attending when you book. Speak to us regarding any illness/covid concerns prior to the event date for possible reschedule to another event.</p>
