Alun Thomas is Alexander Technique Coordinator and senior teacher at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. He has given workshops about musicians' preparation at two International Congresses for Alexander teachers, to many instrumental groups and singers, and also for professional orchestras including the orchestra of the Birmingham Royal Ballet.Also an experienced professional violinist he has played widely and with most of the major orchestras in the UK. He now mainly performs as a chamber musician and recitalist, which have included concerts at many music clubs and also for BBC Radio 3.He divides his time running a busy teaching practice, giving workshops to diverse groups, writing about his work and performing..
