JAZZMOBILE is America's first charitable organization with a mission just for Jazz and presenter of New York City's longest running Jazz Festival: SUMMERFEST!Founded in 1964 by National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)  Jazz Master, Dr. Billy Taylor, arts administrator and philanthropist Daphne Arnstein with NEA Jazz Master Jimmy Heath - JZM's mission is to present, preserve, promote and propagate America's classical music, Jazz.CORE PROGRAMS:Saturday Jazz Workshop, Jazz in the First Person - Lecture Demonstrations: panel discussions, symposia; andSUMMERFEST- Jazzmobile's Free summer mobile concert series, continues to be New York City's longest running Jazz festival.  In 2021 in collaboration with The Interchurch Center, we  launched JAZZMOBILE|sessions - a free indoor concert series. Now as we continue to present this highly acclaimed series at ICC we are able to have year-round FREE programming and will continue to bring this great music and great artists to other spaces!

Listen to it over and over (I have done so five times already) Your kids will love it too!”                    - David Amram</p><h3></h3><h3>Trumpeter and flugelhornist Mark Morganelli has led his own groups since high school days on Long Island. He has performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the  Syracuse Jazz Festival, the Du Maurier Downtown Toronto Jazz Festival, JVC/NY and Saratoga Jazz Festivals, and the New Orleans’ French Quarter Fest.</h3><h3>He’s also toured in Europe, Japan, Brazil and the Caribbean, and has hosted nightly jam sessions aboard the QE2. His first record “Live On Broadway” was recorded in 1982 at his 2nd Jazz Forum loft in NYC and featured JamesSpaulding, John Hicks, Billy Hart and others; his other recordings, have featured original tunes, five standards original compositions by Brazilian artist, Jobim. </h3><h3>Morganelli has produced forty CDs for Candid Records, including his own “Speak Low” recorded live at Birdland Jazz Club with Kenny Barron, Ron Carter &amp; Jimmy Cobb. His fourth recording as a leader, “My Romance” was issued from live summer concert performances and featured Houston Person, Richie Hart, Rick Petrone &amp; Joe Corsello. Morganelli has also recorded with Paquito D’Rivera, James Moody, Clark Terry, Harry “Sweets” Edison, Roland Hanna, Milt Hinton, Bucky Pizzarelli and others. </h3><h3>He continues to perform with his Jazz Forum All-Stars and Brazil project around the region and “Brasil!” is his fifth CD as leader. Morganelli and his wife, Ellen Prior opened their new Jazz Forum club venue in Tarrytown, NY in June, 2017.</h3><h3></h3><h1>REGISTER NOW!</h1>
